Frontiers in Environmental Microbiology (ISSN Online: 2469-8067, ISSN Print: 2469-7869) publishes original research papers on all aspects of environmental microbiology relevant to temperate, tropical and subtropical regions. Subject matter includes fresh water microbiology, marine microbiology, estuarine microbiology, soil microbiology, aeromicrobiology, microbiology of extreme environment, biodegradation, public health, microbiology of drinking water, biofilms and so on. It aims to promote rapid communication and dialogue among the researchers, scientists and engineers working in the areas of environmental microbiology.
